Abstract:
A wheel-securing member falloff detection system (20) comprises a transmitter (21) integrally provided with a wheel-securing member (16) for securing a wheel (15) to an axle (12),and a receiver (31) installed in a vehicle (11). The transmitter (21) is provided with a transmitter storage unit (24) configured so as to store identification information, and a transmission circuit (25) configured so as to transmit a wireless signal including the identification information. The receiver (31) is provided with a receiver control device (32) that acquires the identification information included in the wireless signal. The receiver control device (32) is configured so as to determine that the wheel-securing member (16) has fallen off upon no longer acquiring the identification information.
