It's a method which the wheels of airplanes spinning with wind power,with a motor or a different way. It will reduce friction of tyres, touching onto the ground while landing. So, the method will stop expense for tyres to renew. Plus, heating problem will substantially disappear for tyres, so, no need will be to compress nitrogen gass into tyres.

1. A method of spinning wheel, the method comprising:

spinning tyres of airplanes before landing onto ground.

2. An apparatus for spinning wheels of planes, comprising:

rubber flaps to spin wheels by air power provided from the wind or speed of airplane.


Technical Field:

Plane tires are having damages because of the friction while landing onto the ground. This causes a very important deal of money loss in a long period.

Background Art:

Tyres of a plane are moveless untill they touch onto the ground while landing. They start spinning after the touch onto the ground. So, its causing wear and tear because of the friction.

Summary of I nvention

Technical Problem : For airplanes it is a very important problem while landing on flare path. The tyres of airplane are having damage because of the friction and heat. This kind of damage is causing an important loss. The plane com panies are trying so solve the problem to renew outer edges of tyres. This way is also costs an important deal of money. Tyres are also filling with nitrogen gass to prevent tyres from air preassure because of the heat of friction.

Soluation to Problem : To solve haeting and abrasive problem of friction, tyres spin before landing on flare path. By this way, friction and heating problems will disappear at a highest percentage. Maybe to fill nitrogen won't be needed to compress into tyres. Because no heating problem will be for tyres. Its a method and varied apparatuss which have been thought to reduce abrasion of tyres, while landing onto the ground. By spinning the tyres of the plane before landing,

with a rate of turnover, by fitting the speed of the plane. By means of this method, coefficient of friction will be reduced near to zero, and economic life of the tyres will be longer than before. Tyres can be spinned before the landing by various apparatuss. For exam, propellers, electric motor or rubber flaps...etc. Speed of the plane and turnover rate of tyres can be calculated and fit to eachother. So planes need tachameters to know the turnover rates of tyres. Or specified amount of flaps can be glued onto tyres to spin tyres near the turnover rate while landing. Or more flaps can be placed onto tyres and the turnover rate can be reduced to the optimum level. Tyres can be spinned with also electric motors, but by this way it can be more expensive than rubber flaps and motors are heavier than rubber flaps. Some various propeller systems also can be used to spin the tyres. But maybe the rubber flaps are the most practical way. Different ways can be applied for spinning the tyres. A compressor can be used to spin the tyres. Some of the tools we use, are working with air compressor.

Advantageous Effects of Invention:

By spinning method the crash effect of tyres onto the ground during landing, can be reduced. So, landing can be more comfortable for pessengers too. By this method production payments of a tyre can be lowered. A middle qualified tyre can be enough for usage. . During take off, rubber flaps wont reduce the speed of wheels by means of direction of flaps. After take off, wheels can be stopped by breaking and taken into the plane. Brief Description of Drawings:

Figure 1 is showing wholly tyre and fixed rubber flaps on. Image 2 is showing enterance of the rubber flap. Image 3 is showing the cuttage another kind of rubber flap.

Description of Embodiment:

Figure 1: More or less amount of flaps can be fixed on tyre, then may arrange the speed of a wheel with breaking. Rubber flaps can be fixed with adhesive. Wind air is entering through the enterance (lc) into the flap (lb) and spinning the wheel (la).

Figure 2: Front view of the flap, showing the large air inlet. Upside of the wall (2b) but the enterance is important. Shape of the front line (2b) of round wall is not even, its an inclined plane, lest the round wall will close the enterance, folded by air preassure of wind. Inclined shape keeps the enterance opened. By means of the wind, it will stay stretched.

Figure 3: It's another kind of flap. Part (3c) is facing the wind and spinning the wheel. Part (3b) is fixed onto the tyre with adhesive. Part (3a) is the corner of the flap and must be ticker to be strong. Industrial Applicability:

Rubber flaps are easy to produce, place and replace when they have damage.They are also light enough to use on airplanes. They easily are folding while the wheels are replacing into the plane, after take off. An ordinary rubber shaper producer can produce these flaps. Airplane factories or airlines companies can give an order for production of the flaps. So its easy to find and renew. They are also cheap to produce and to buy. In a few years will be redeemable and will make a considerable economy.
