Abstract:
A wheel type pumping unit comprises a frame (14), upper drive wheels (1,2) and a
lower drive wheel (6) mounted on the frame, a polished rod (12), a balance weight (16)
and a hoisting unit. The upper drive wheels comprise an inner wheel (1) and outer
wheels (2) being coaxial with the inner wheel. The lower drive wheel is connected with
the upper drive wheels by means of wirelines (3,4) below the upper drive wheels. The
upper end of the polished rod and the balance weight are respectively attached to
a polished rod wireline (11) and a balance weight wireline (5) which wind around the
inner wheel. The hoisting unit includes a motor (8) whose power is transmitted to
the lower drive wheel by reducers (7,18) so as to drive the lower drive wheel to
rotate positively and negatively. The pumping unit is easy to be maintained and
has an advantage of saving energy.
