Abstract:
A wheel with flexible spokes comprises: a rim (2); spokes (2); and a hub (3). The rim (2) and the hub (3) are connected by means of the spokes (2). The hub (3) is disposed at the central position with respect to the rim (1). The spokes (2) are flexible. The flexible spoke can deform when an external force is abruptly applied to the wheel. In the deformation process, a stress change occurs in the interior of the flexible spoke to cushion and mitigate the external force, thereby reducing a magnitude of a jolt of a vehicle, increasing comfort for a driver or a passenger, reducing damage caused to components of the vehicle by the jolt, enhancing shock absorption performance of the vehicle in a collision, and effectively reducing casualties in accidents.
