Abstract:
Safety is improved so that a wheelchair is not moved by the sudden starting or the like of a vehicle even if the rotation lock of a reel has been forgotten. Furthermore, the device is prevented from upsizing in order to improve the safety.
A wheelchair fixing device in which a plurality of restraint members (12f, 12r, 12y, 12z) provided with hooks are pulled out from reels (30f, 30r, 30y, 30z), the hooks are hooked on the wheelchair, and the restraint members (12f, 12r, 12y, 12z) are wound by the reels (30f, 30r, 30y, 30z) with the hook hooked on the wheelchair to fix the wheelchair to a vehicle, is provided with a rotational regulatory mechanism (60) which regulates the rotation of the reels (30f, 30r, 30y, 30z) using the tension of the restraint members (12f, 12r, 12y, 12z) when the restraint members are going to be pulled out from the reels (30f, 30r, 30y, 30z) by the external force applied to the wheelchair.
