Abstract:
Provided is a wide-angle camera comprising an inner housing body, and further comprising: a transparent hood comprising a hemispherical shell and a truncated-spherical shell connected to the inner housing body; and a camera disposed in the transparent hood, wherein the hemispherical shell is positioned in front of a lens of the camera. Regarding the wide-angle camera of the invention, the camera, after being installed at a predetermined position in the transparent hood, remains pointing towards the hemispherical shell of the transparent hood when rotating vertically from 0 degrees to 90 degrees, thereby ensuring that external light exclusively passes through the hemispherical shell of the transparent hood to enter the camera. Therefore, when the camera rotates horizontally along with the inner housing body and/or rotates vertically by itself, an image captured by the camera is clear and has a good quality.
