Abstract:
Disclosed is a wide angle imaging device having at least two cameras (4a, 4b) for acquiring digital images disposed so that the optical axes (11a, 11b) of said cameras intersect within the same plane, making it possible to acquire an image from a wide field angle (α) centred on the intersection (O) of the optical axes, and to take stereo measurements on the basis of two images in an overlap section, which is formed from the two overlapping images from the cameras in the part where the field angles of both cameras overlap.
