Abstract:
A longitudinally-coupled multimode surface wave filter in which the line occupancy of a reflector is set to be smaller than that of an IDT electrode so as to determine an appropriate width of the stop band of the reflector according to a request filter, and the periods of the reflector and the surface wave filter are appropriately set so that the stop width of the reflector is approximately equal to the width of the surface wave filter. Therefore, means for widening the band of a longitudinally-coupled multimode SAW filter for a wideband RF filter for portable phones of new system.
