Abstract:
Disclosed is a Wiebe function parameter identification method with which the rate of heat generation by in-cylinder combustion of an internal combustion engine is modeled with use of a combination of two or more Wiebe functions including a first Wiebe function and a second Wiebe function. This method includes: acquisition of operation data during operation of the internal combustion engine; and identification of the values of multiple parameters included in the combination of Wiebe functions on the basis of the operation data and a differential value in at least one same parameter of the first Wiebe function and the second Wiebe function.
