Abstract:
Provided is a method for early determination of defective winding of a rope onto a drum of a winch. The method includes acquiring an image captured by a camera disposed facing the drum, determining, on the basis of the captured image, whether winding of the rope is defective and a defect degree indicating the degree to which the winding is defective, and outputting the results of the determination.
