Title:
WIND-DRIVEN ELECTRICITY GENERATOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/044171
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A wind-driven electricity generator which does not use a heater at all to heat lubrication oil piping or, alternatively, in which the number of places to be heated by a heater is reduced to a minimum level. The generator (1) has a lubrication system (20) in which lubrication oil (L) in a lubrication oil tank (21) is circulated via the lubrication oil piping (23) connected to a lubrication oil pump (22) and is supplied for lubrication to a main bearing (12) connected to the lubrication oil piping (23). The lubrication system (20) has a lubrication oil recovery system formed when the lubrication oil pump (22) is at a stop and allowing the oil to drop by gravity to recover the lubrication oil (L) into the lubrication oil tank (21).
