Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an ion wind generating device capable of delivering ions across a wide range and capable of delivering ion wind with reduced ozone concentration near an outlet without using a filter or the like. [Solution] An ion, ozone or ion wind generating device comprising: a pair of electrodes having a discharging electrode and a counter electrode, wherein a potential difference is generated between the discharging electrode and the counter electrode and wherein ions, ozone and ion wind are generated by corona discharge; and a guide member having an opening that serves as an inlet, a narrow portion that has the smallest inner diameter of the guide member, a reduced-diameter portion wherein an inner diameter of the guide member is reduced from the side of the opening toward the narrow portion, and an inner space formed by the reduced-diameter portion; wherein the diameter R1 of the counter electrode, the diameter RB of the opening and the diameter RA of the narrow portion satisfy the equation RB > RA > R1.
