Title:
WIND-INDUCED VIBRATION CONTROL SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/080029
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wind-induced vibration control system having, in a structure, a wind-induced vibration control unit including a wind movement passage, so as to measure wind velocity and wind direction in real-time without an additional load weight, thereby preventing vortex generation caused by the wind and resonance caused thereby, controlling the vibration of a building, and enabling torsional moment caused by wind load to be reduced. The wind-induced vibration control system of the present invention comprises: an inlet, through which the wind flows in, provided at one side surface of the structure; an outlet, through which the influent wind flows out, provided at the other side surface of the structure; and the wind movement passage, provided inside the structure, of which one end communicates with the inlet and the other end communicates with the outlet such that the influent wind moves therein.
