Title:
WIND MEASUREMENT LIDAR DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/109888
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to extract, monitor, and control part of wind speed measurement light as return light to thereby increase the spectral intensity of the wind speed measurement light and scattered light without causing stimulated Brillouin scattering. The wind measurement lidar device according to the present invention is characterized by being provided with a light emission unit 4 for emitting laser light outputted from a light source 9 into the atmosphere as wind speed measurement light, a scattered light receiver 13 for receiving the wind speed measurement light scattered by microparticles in the atmosphere as scattered light, a scattered light intensity determination unit 15 for determining whether the spectral intensity of the scattered light received by the scattered light receiver 13 is sufficient, a monitoring light receiver 18 for receiving the wind speed measurement light outputted from the light source 9 as monitoring light before the wind speed measurement light is emitted from the light emission unit 4, and a monitoring light intensity determination unit 20 for determining whether the intensity of the wind speed measurement light can be amplified without causing stimulated Brillouin scattering in the spectral intensity of the monitoring light.
