Abstract:
Disclosed is a wind power generator, which can prevent electric equipment from being damaged when the wind turbine generator is installed in a cold district. A wind turbine generator (2) comprises a power supply unit (23) connected with a power system (10) through a switch (3), a system voltage measurement section (26) provided between the power supply unit (23) and the power system (10) in order to measure the voltage of the power system (10), and a temperature measurement section (21) for determining the ambient temperature of the power supply unit (23), wherein the switch (3) operates to disconnect the power supply unit (23) from the power system (10) when a value measured by the temperature measurement section (21) or the ambient temperature of the power supply unit (23) estimated based on the measured value is lowered than a first temperature threshold determined based on the function guarantee temperature of the power supply unit (23), and a voltage measured by the system voltage measurement section (26) is lowered than a predetermined voltage threshold.
