Abstract:
According to the present invention, collision between blades and a tower is avoided while minimizing any increase in a time needed to stop when a wind power generator is stopped, even if low-stiffness blades are employed. This wind power generator comprises a rotor (10) provided with blades (2), a nacelle (4) supporting the rotor (10), a tower (5) supporting the nacelle (4), a pitch angle control mechanism (21) that controls the pitch angle of the blades (2), and a control device (12) that outputs a pitch angle target value to the pitch angle control mechanism (21), the control device (12) determining the pitch angle target value to be used during feathering of the blades (2) so that, when the wind power generator is stopped, the blades (2) do not greatly bend toward the tower (5) within the range of an azimuth angle passing through the tower (5).
