Abstract:
Disclosed is a wind power generator wherein a spindle-shaped nacelle (11) is disposed in a fan case (10) having a smaller cross-sectional area at the center portion in the front-back direction so that the proportion of the cross-sectional area of a space through which air passes falls from a third to a fifth; a vane wheel (12) provided with vanes (36) is disposed at the center portion so that the wind speed is increased at the position of the vane wheel (12) to increase the wind power energy per unit area of each vane (36); and, thus, the power generation efficiency is improved. Each vane (36) is rotatably attached to a shaft (40), and the rotation of the shaft is elastically supported, so that the angle of attack of each vane (36) can be automatically adjusted in accordance with the wind power. Furthermore, wind guide pieces (46) are attached to the rear portion of a wind direction plate (14) or the nacelle (11) so that airflow on the rear of the fan case (10) can be rotated.
