Abstract:
The invention relates to wind power engineering. A wind-powered electric generator comprises a rotor having a horizontal rotational axis and having a base that is mechanically connected to a shaft of the electric generator. Panels are mounted on the base of the rotor, said panels being crescent-shaped, curving in a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction. Further, the base can be in the shape of a disk or a cone or a conoid. The purpose of the invention is to enhance the performance of the device.
