Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a wind turbine blade, a wind power generation device provided with the same, and a design method for a wind turbine blade, said wind turbine blade being provided with a flat-back airfoil and exhibiting excellent aerodynamic characteristics and rigidity. The wind turbine blade (1) is provided with a blade tip (2), a blade root (4) connected to a hub (112), and an airfoil (6) located between the blade tip (2) and the blade root (4). The trailing-edge (8) of the airfoil (6) has a thick flat-back airfoil (10) in at least the region in the longitudinal direction of the blade wherein the blade thickness ratio (X), which represents the ratio of the maximum thickness (tmax) to the chord length (LC), is 40%-50%. In the aforementioned region where the thickness ratio (X) is 40%-50%, the trailing-edge thickness ratio (Y) of the flat-back airfoil (10), said trailing-edge thickness ratio (Y) representing the ratio of the thickness (tTE) of the trailing-edge (8) to the maximum thickness (tmax), is 5%-YH%. YH is calculated using the blade thickness ratio (X), and is expressed by YH=1.5X-30.
