Title:
WIND TURBINE COMPRISING MONITORING SENSORS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/091675
Kind Code:
A8
Abstract:
The invention relates to a wind turbine comprising a rotor (10) that has at least two blades (14A, 14B), each of which is equipped with at least one inclinometer array (30A, 30B, 31A, 31B) having at least two axes, and an evaluation unit (44, 50, 52) to determine, for each blade during operation, the degree of bending and/or twisting of the blade relative to the longitudinal axis of the blade from the signals of the inclinometer arrays. The invention also relates to a method for operating a wind turbine. In said method, as the rotor rotates, a liquid is transferred between at least one liquid tank (34) in each of the rotor blades and a liquid reservoir (42) in the hub (12) in accordance with the determined degree of bending of the rotor blades.
