Abstract:
Disclosed are a wind turbine simulation system and method. The wind turbine simulation system according to one embodiment of the present invention is a wind turbine simulation system that is unaffected by the actual operating conditions of a wind turbine and comprises: a wind turbine model unit including a rotor having model blades provided with a plurality of strain sensors attached to the surfaces thereof and a hub, and a driving column for increasing the rotating speed of the rotor and transmitting power; a driving unit including a driving motor for driving the rotor; a generating unit including a generator for converting the rotating force generated by the wind turbine model unit to electrical energy; and a controller for controlling at least one of the wind turbine model unit, the driving unit, and the generator unit.
