Abstract:
The invention addresses the problem of configuring a wind wheel device for a wind-driven generator so that blade members each can be mounted so as to be supported at both ends thereof and so that the wind wheel device can be formed from lightweight simple members, and the configuration enables the wind wheel device to efficiently utilize wind power. A wind wheel device for a wind-driven generator comprises: a pair of endless chain members (1, 1) disposed so as to circulate within a given range in the vertical direction; pairs of chain wheel members (2, 2) over which the pair of endless chain members (1, 1) is passed; a large number of blade members (3, 3, ...) each having both ends joined to the pair of endless chain members (1, 1) while the blade members (3, 3, ...) are disposed at regular intervals; a frame body (4) for supporting all the chain wheel members (2, 2, ...) through rotating shafts (6, 7) so that the chain wheel members (2, 2, ...) can rotate; the rotating shaft (6) for upper chain wheel members (2, 2) joined to a generator (5) through two transmission chain wheels (5a, 6a) and a transmission chain member (5b); the rotating shaft (7) for lower chain wheel members (2, 2); a support member (8) for supporting the frame body (4) so that the frame body (4) can rotate in the horizontal direction; a direction control mechanism disposed between the support member (8) and the frame body (4); and a guide rail mechanism (9) for guiding the blade members (3, 3, ...) so that the blade members (3, 3, ...) circulate while being oriented in a predetermined direction.
