Abstract:

[Problem] To improve the operability rate of a windmill through improved control when an excessive load on the movable part of the windmill is detected. [Solution] A windmill drive system 5 is provided with: a plurality of drive devices 10 disposed in one of the structures of the movable part of a windmill 101, each having a drive gear 24a for engaging with a link gear 107 disposed in the other structure of the movable part of the windmill; a state quantity detection means 80 for monitoring, for each of the drive devices, the load generated between the drive gear of each of the plurality of drive devices and the link gear; and a control means 110 for performing control such that when a load abnormality is detected by the state quantity detection means 80, the load is reduced.
