Abstract:
This invention is a matter concerning window type air conditioner, in a detailed statment, it is concerning separated window type air conditioner into indoor and outdoor equipments which is separated into and formed by indoor equipment and outdoor equipment. This invention aims at providing a separated window type air conditioner into indoor and outdoor equipments by which the indoor environment become more comfortable and beautiful with excluding the motor noise generated from the outdoor equipment by the double window and the thickness of wall as well as keeping the characteristic function of window as it stands by minimizing the occupying area of air conditioner on the area of pane under the condition of installing an air conditioner at side window.

1. [C la ims]<BR> <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR> Ill The separated window type air conditioner into inside equipment and outside equipment : In the conventional window type air conditioner that a compressor (20) which compresses refrigerant into high temperature and high r pressure, and a condenser (21) which liquefies refrigerant with discharging condensing latent heat of compressed refrigerant are installed, and in front of the condenser (21) a cooling fan which blows the air of inside forward the condenser (21) so as to cool the refrigerant is installed in the inside of outside equipment, white an evaporator which cools ambient air with evaporating refrigerant' coming from condenser (21) is installed and in rear of evaporator (23) a blowing fan (24) which blows cooled air to inside is installed in the inside of inside equipment, after forming above air. conditioner (1) with being separated into inside equipment (2) and outside equipment (3), opening the front face of outdoor equipment (3) and the rear face of indoor equipment under the condition of installing the abovementioned components in the inside of indoor equipment (2) and outdoor equipment (3), and then making the copper pipe (4) and wiring (5) pass through one side window.
2. Provided that, this separated type air conditioner has a characteristic to make the front face of separated outside equipment (3) and the rear face of inside equipment (2) a unified body with connecting and fixing them in the front and rear faces of connecting frame (6).

The separated window type air conditioner into inside equipment and outside equipment which has a characteristic as follows : In the [1], the connecting frame (6) is formed by the sharp of square and the front and rear face plates (7) (7') and the extended side face fixing plate (8) are formed by the connecting frame (6). The opposite part faced to the side fixing plate (8) is opened and depression part is formed in the inside of it. The bended flange (10) (10') is formed in the front and rear face plates (7) (7') and the side face fixing plate (8). Besides, many piece holes (11) are made in the face of flange, and soundproof material holes (11) are made in the face of flange, and soundproof material (12) is filled in the space of the bended flange (10) of side face fixing plate (8), in other word, in the guide route that copper pipe (4) and wiring (5) are passing through the one side of window attaching indoor and outdoor equipments (2) (3). Many bolt holes (13) for fixing are made on the side face fixing plate (8), while the adjusting bolt holes (15) are made on the inside of front and rear face plates (7) (7') on with projecting of bushes (14) by three directions. Making a screw jointing with the bolt (17) of tight lock coupler (16) on the adjusting bolt holes (15) and then attaching a cover on the bended flange (10) of side face fixing plate (8).
Description:
A window air conditioner which is separated indoor and outdoor equipments [Technica I fie Id] This invention is a matter of window type air conditioner.

In further detail, this invention is a matter of window type air conditioner made by being separated into an indoor equipment and an outdoor equipment.

[Background of invention] Generally, a window type air conditioner means a solid type air conditioner that the indoor equipment and out door equipment are formed into a single body. in case that such air conditioner is installed on a window, up to now, first we make an outside frame and a support frame separately, and then assemble the air conditioner in the above frame, and next install the assembled air conditioner on one side window. Besides, in order to install the air conditioner firmly, under the condition that the inside equipment is exposed in the inside of window and the outside equipment is exposed in the outside o. f window, we fix the support frame that is supporting

outside frame on the outside face of wall with anchor bolts.

In addition, we finish by sealing the gap between the top part of air conditioner and upper part of window frame with paper board or A1 plate board under the condition that one side window is opened as much as the width of air conditioner. in such a case, as we cannot use one side window among windows, there is attended by evils such as the indoor appearance is not beautiful due to the finishing board as well as it makes the indoor environment dark and oppressed due to loosing the peculiar function of window. furthermore, it has evil practices that motor noise created from outside is transferred as it is because the thin board cannot do the role of soundproofing.

Especially that the installing itself is troublesome and inconvenient like above, is pointed out as the most big problem, presently, air conditioner is about the size of being replaced by separated wall type and slim type.

While, wall type and slim type air conditioners is consisted of a completely divided structure, outdoor equipment has a r. emote distance

from indoor equipment and is connected to indoor equipment with copper pipe. Another, this type of air conditioner has some problems which the price is higher than the window type and is no real economy as well as the installing work is very troublesome and inconvenient.

[Detailed statement of invention] This invention aims to provide a window type air conditioner separated into indoor equipment and outdoor equipment, with which indoor environment becomes more comfortable and beautiful by excluding motor noise generated from outside with double window and the thickness of wall, simultaneously with keeping the characteristic function of window by minimizing the occupying area blinding the window under the installing of air conditioner on one side window in order to solve various problems here of.

To realize this, after making indoor equipment and outdoor equipment separately, assembling and fixing these equipments on the front and rear plates of type connecting frame which is made separately, at this time, fixing the side fixing plate by sticking it on the chassis of window frame with bolt, on inserting the depression part between

the front and the rear plate into the wall face which is contacted with window frame by sliding, under the condition of making the indoor equipment being projected into inside and outside equipment being projected into outside.

Fig 2 is showing horizontal plane figure for an example of this invention.

(A) and (B) of Fig 3 are figure showing front plane for an example of this invention, and (A) is a figure of air conditioner installed in the vertically opening and shutting windows.

Fig 1 is a figure showing the analyzed condition of the separated type window are conditioner by indoor type and outdoor type in the form of three dimension figure.

Fig 2 is a plane figure showing the condition of installing the assembled one of fig 1 on the wall face connected to window frame under the condition of assembling of fig 1.

(A) and (B) of fig 3 are figures showing the installed condition of fig 2 in the front plane figure.

(A) is an installed condition on the horizontal direction opening and

shutting window ordinarily and this type of window is used in Korea and Japan mainly, and (B) is an installed condition on the vertical direction opening and shutting window and this type of. window is preferred by America and Europe mainly.

The detailed explanation of concrete practical example of this invention relating to the attached figures is as follows.

In the conventional window type are conditioner that a compressor (20) which compresses refrigerant into high temperature and high pressure, and a condenser (21) which liquefies refrigerant with discharging condensing latent heat of compressed refrigerant are installed, and in front of the condenser (21) a cooling fan which blows the air of inside forward the condenser (21) so as to cool the refrigerant is installed in the inside of outside equipment, while an evaporator which cools ambient air with evaporating refrigerant coming from condenser (21) is installed and in rear of evaporator (23) a blowing fan (24) which blows cooled air to inside is installed. in the inside of inside equipment, after forming above air conditioner (1) with being separated into inside equipment (2) and outside equipment (3),

opening the front face of outdoor equipment (3) and the rear face of indoor equipment under the condition of installing the'above-mention -ed components in the inside of indoor equipment (2) and outdoor equipment (3), and then making the copper pipe (4) and wiring (5) pass through one side of window.

Another, the connection frame (6), which is for the unifying separated indoor and outdoor equipments (2)(3) as one body, is formed by the shape of the front and rear face plates (7) (7') and the extended side face fixing plate (8) are formed by the connecting frame (6). The opposite part faced to the side face fixing plate (8) is opened and depression part (9) is formed in the inside of it.

The bended flange (10) (10') is formed in the front and rear face plate (7) (7') and the side face fixing plate (8). Besides, many piece holes (11) are made in the face of flange, and soundproof material (12) is filled in the space of the bended flange (10') of side face fixing plate (8), in other word, in the guide route that copper pipe (4) and wiring (5) are passing through the side of indoor and outdoor equipments (2) (3). Many bolt holes (13) for fixing are made on the

side face fixing plate (8), while the adjusting bolt holes (15) are made on the inside of front and rear face plates (7) (7') on with projecting of bushes (14) by three directions.

Making a screw jointing with the bolt (17) of tight lock coupler (16) on the adjusting bolt holes (15) and then fixing a cover with piece (19) on the bended flange (10) of side face fixing plate (8) so that the soundproof material (12) filled in the guide route through which copper pipe (4) and wiring (5) are passing is not exposed. With having this structure, following designations are used : (25): Fixing bolt (26): Sealing up lever (27): Wall (28): Frame of window (29): Window.

The mechanism and effects of this invention formed above are as follows : First of all, the process of assembling inside equipment (2) and outside equipment (3) in the connecting frame (6) is that the inside and outside equipments (2) (3) are jointed and fixed on the front and

rear face plate (7) (7') of connecting frame (6) when driving the screw into the piece hole (11) of ber, ded flange (10) with sticking the front opening part of outside equipment (3) and the rear opening part of inside equipment (2) to the bended flange (10) located in the upper and lower parts of front and rear face plates (7) (7') of connecting frame (6). At this time, the copper pipe (4) and wiring (5), which is exposed on one side of window of the opening part of inside and outside equipments (2) (3), are passing the guide route of side face fixing plate (8) of connecting frame (6), besides the noise is reduced by the filled soundproof material (12).

As mentioned above, when the indoor and outdoor equipments (2) (3) become one united body by fixing them on the front and. rear face plates (7) (7') of connecting frame (6), and when side face fixing plate (8) becomes stuck to the chassis of frame of window (28) after thrusting and inserting the united body into the ordinary horizontal opening and shutting type frame of window (28) under the condition of placing the depression part (9) of connecting frame (6), the connecting frame (6) at which inside and outside equipments (2) (3)

are attached and fixed is calculated to be installed and fixed firmly on the frame of window (28) on driving the fixing bolt (25) into fixing bolt hole (13) made on the side face fixing plate (8). Under the above condition, when we adjust the tight lock coupler (16) which is projected forward inside of the depression part (9) so as to be stuck to wall face (27) connecting to the window frame ; the install -ing of this invention results in completing.

Finally, when covering the lid of upper and lower part bended flange (10) of side face fixing plate (8) on which copper pipe (4) and wiring (5) are exposed, and driving the pieces (19), copper pipe (4) and wiring (5) result in being unexposed outside, as in figure 3, when we insert the tight lock lever (26) into upper opening part as much as the thickness of bended flange (10) of side face fixing plate (8), all the works of installation result in completing. And also the above mentioned tight lock coupler (16) plays a role of making connecting frame (6) variable regardless wall (27) thickness as well as it plays a role of making the connecting frame (6) stick and fixing solidly without any movement on the wall (27) which is connect

-ed to the frame of window (28).

While when installing the united body in the window of vertically opening and shutting as in figure 3 (B), if we stick side face fixing plate (8) fast to the horizontal face of frame of window (28) by rotating the connecting frame (6) with 90, this invention can be installed even in the window frame of vertically opening and shutting which is preferred in Europe etc without any change of structure.

[Possibility of using in industry] As mentioned above, this invention aims at mutual complementing the short-coming of the existing window type air conditioner, wail type and slim type air conditioner, in addition, this invention can keep the characteristic function of window by excluding the occupying area of air conditioner in the window area under the condition of installing as well as the installing work is simple and easy to do.

Furthermore, its effectiveness is to make the indoor environment more comfortable and beautiful by minimizing the noise flowing into the indoor with excluding the motor noise generating from outside equipment by the double windows and the wall thickness.

Another, you can take the advantages of the existing wall type and slim type air conditioner with the same price level as the existing window type air conditioner, so this invention is a useful thing having effectiveness with which we can make it an air conditioner of mediocrity.
