Abstract:
A method for controlling a window cleaning robot according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: specifying an area to be cleaned by sensing a distance between surrounding window frames and the window cleaning robot through an ultrasonic sensor; detecting an initial attachment position of the window cleaning robot in the area to be cleaned on the basis of the distance; generating a movement map in which a movement path of the window cleaning robot is set through an initial movement of the window cleaning robot in the area to be cleaned; and moving the window cleaning robot according to the movement path to perform a cleaning operation.
