upper leaf glass profile (6), which is manufactured with a width higher than that of the standard movable glass profiles, said curtain being made of fabric or any desired material with the color and quality thereof varying according to the preference, said curtain not hindering the opening and closing of the glass, and opening and closing together with the glass.

Description:

WINDOW OR DOOR WITH INTEGRATED ROLLER BLIND

The invention relates to movable glass systems mounted in the places having more than one open faces, which systems may slide on the profile rails located on the bottom floor or the top ceiling, may rotate owing to the wheeled mechanism and may be completely folded. The invention is included within the technical fields of construction, architecture and production. State of the art

According to the state of the art, the glass systems have been in use for a long time. Owing to the systems slidable on the profile rails located on the bottom floor or the top ceiling parts of the uncovered places, the open places may be completely covered and opened according to the season and the preference.

The most prominent problems encountered with the movable glass systems according to the state of the art include the direct penetration of the sun light into the interior space, interior space's being easily visible, impossibility to fit a curtain due to the necessity for the profile rails to be wide to enable the folding movement and even when fitted, it being possible to fit the curtain only at a position 5-25 centimeters backwards and only on the ceiling, the curtain causing a considerable narrowing in the interior space, the curtain constituting an obstacle in case of folding the glass and the significant extra cost brought forward by the subsequent mounting of the curtain.

Object of the Invention

The object of the invention is to provide the foldable glass systems with self curtain, and to provide the user with the ability to close the place where the movable glass system is used and to hinder the sun light whenever desired, without the need being left for any extra expenditure and effort.

A main problem encountered with the movable foldable glass systems according to the state of the art is the inability to install a curtain on said glasses. Since the sun light directly penetrates inside, said light may not be hindered, the curtain may only be fitted on the ceiling, and even in this case, the glass leafs hit the curtain when opened and the top ceiling railed profiles open in a wide manner to enable the folding of the glass so that the curtain may be fitted only at a distance of 5,25 centimeters from the window. This leads both to a narrowing in the space and an appearance that is not aesthetic. In the glass system with self curtain, said problems are completely eliminated; the curtain moves together with the glass in the upper profile, it may be opened at any desired time and level, there exists no y need to separately deal with the curtain once the glass system is mounted on the open area, and also, the functionality and convenience are provided, as both problems are resolved at the same time.

Description of the Drawings

Our invention is different from the foldable glass systems according to the state of the art, and enables the foldable glass systems to be produced with self curtains, owing to a special technique. The operating principle is described as follows: In a foldable glass (4) system with self curtain (1) like the one shown in Figure 2, Figure 2 and Figure 3, the fixed profile (10) provided with an extra thickness to bear the wheel load is mounted with desired measurement and size on the bottom floor or top ceiling parts of an

open place. The glasses (4) are secured to the leaf profiles (5) by means of the screws, and the leaf profiles (5) are in turn connected to the fixed carrier profiles on the ceiling (6) and the bottom floor (10) via the wheels. In order to enable the glass to move at the center without swinging, the required number of wheels adjusted according to the ceiling height and the weight of the curtain material are used on the top ceiling section (7) and on the bottom floor section (13), as the weight will vary due to the presence of the curtain mechanism.

The foldable movable glasses (4) operate in a state similar to that of the known systems, for which the application has been previously made. The only difference of the foldable glasses produced with this system is the use of the curtain mechanism (15) connected with the glass leaf, which mechanism is placed in the upper glass profile (6) and moves together with the glass leaf, and also the use of the required number of wheels (13) on the lower floor to balance the weight of the curtain mechanism.

In the foldable glass systems with self curtain, the upper leaf glass profile (6) is produced with a thickness higher than that of the standard movable glass profiles and inside said profile are placed the curtain (1) in a wrapped state onto the roll, said curtain being made of fabric or any desired material with the color and quality thereof varying according to the preference, and also the curtain mechanism (3). In order to secure the curtain mechanism placed into said profile (5) and to enable the same to perform the rotational movement, the profile covers and the base cover, which moves in a manner as necessary to roll up or unroll the curtain, are used. The curtains (1) operate in a manner closing downwards from the top upon the manual pulling of its rope (2), and it is also possible to remotely control the curtains. The curtain roll (3) has the feature of being able to move freely inside the upper profile. In order to enable the curtain (1) to move, to be opened and closed and to be wrapped onto the roll cylinder (14), the

base covers (17, 18) are fitted on the right and left edges of the profile. Owing to the presence of the housings in said base covers, the curtain roll carrier cylinder (14) is mounted to the base covers (17, 18) along with the curtain shaft (14), and it enables the curtain to be wrapped onto the cylinder in the form of a roll, in case the curtain is closed. This system also allows the curtain to be removed, cleaned and replaced, according to the need. Base covers also provide the balance and durability and the stability of the curtain system.
