Abstract:
The present invention enables an antenna to coexist with a heating area, the antenna being capable of ensuring antenna gain in a given frequency band. This window glass apparatus for a vehicle comprises: a glass pane for a vehicle; a first busbar which is provided on the glass pane and which has an upper portion extending in the direction along the upper edge of the glass pane; a second busbar which is provided on the glass pane and which has a lower portion extending in the direction along the lower edge of the glass pane; and an antenna disposed in a space near the upper portion, the antenna transmitting and receiving radio waves of a prescribed frequency, wherein: the glass pane has a heating area that spreads out between the upper and lower portions and a non-heating area that spreads out above the upper portion; the heating area is an area where a conductive member is disposed such that if a DC voltage from a power source is applied between the first and second busbars, a DC current is caused to flow in a vertical direction; the heating area is heated with heat produced by the conductive member; and the antenna has a conductor separate from the glass pane and facing the glass pane.
