Abstract:
Disclosed is a window glass fracture sensor comprising an electrically conductive layer, an adhesive layer, and a detection unit. The electrically conductive layer is placed on the surface of a glass plate that is applied to a window. The electrically conductive layer is patterned by printing. The adhesive layer enables the attachment of the electrically conductive layer onto the glass plate. The detection unit can detect the occurrence of fracture in the glass plate on the basis of the occurrence of disconnection of the electrically conductive layer or the change in resistivity in the electrically conductive layer.
