Abstract:
This invention provides a window glass for a vehicle, which can reduce production cost and, at the same time, can reduce sizzling hotness to the skin of a vehicle passenger, and a method for manufacturing the same. In such a state that a glass plate (1) is vertically held by a glass plate holding member (4), an infrared cut liquid (3) is ejected using a nozzle (2) onto the glass plate (1) on its upper part (1b). The infrared cut liquid (3) ejected onto the glass plate (1) on its upper part (1b) flows down in a vertical downward direction to coat the infrared cut liquid (3) onto the glass plate (1). The glass plate (1) on which the infrared cut liquid (3) has been coated is dried at room temperature for about 5 min. Thereafter, the glass plate (1) onto which the infrared cut liquid (3) has been coated, is introduced into an oven which has been previously heated to 200ºC, followed by heating for 10 min. Thereafter, the assembly is cooled to provide a glass plate (1) having an infrared cut film. The glass plate (1) having an infrared cut film is mounted on a vehicle (5) so that the glass plate (1) on its lower part (1c) is located on the upper side of the vehicle (5) and the glass plate (1) on its upper part (1b) is located on the lower side of the vehicle (5).
