Abstract:
A window opening and closing device (1) is provided with: a frame (5) that defines an opening (4); a sash (6) for opening and closing the opening (4); a sash support mechanism (11) equipped with a connection mechanism (8) that connects the upper end section (7) of the sash (6) to the frame (5) so as to rotate freely in an R1 direction and move up and down freely in a vertical direction (V), and a connection mechanism (10) that connects a middle section (9), which is lower than the upper end section (7) of the sash (6) to the frame (5) so as move freely in an inward and outward direction (H) from a building; and a sash opening and closing control mechanism (12) that controls the opening and closing of the sash (6).
