Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a structure that can easily apply or increase wire tension in a wire drum window regulator. A wire route between a wire drum (7) and a wire guide (9) is lengthened by rotating the wire guide (9). For this purpose, the planar shape of the wire guide (9), around which a wire (5) is wound on the circumferential face, is a shape for which the length of the wire (5) in contact with the circumferential face is longer after rotating than before rotating when the guide is rotated about a rotational axis that intersects with the planar face of the same. In addition, a temporary wire stop (21) is provided on the wire guide (9) and temporarily stops the wire (5), and the wire guide (9) is rotated by using the pulling force, by the wire drum (7), on the wire (5) that is wound around the wire guide (9). The wire (5) that is held by the temporary stop (21) is released from the temporary stop (21) by the component force of the wire tension when the wire guide (9) is rotated and the temporary stop (21) deviates toward the side from the wire route.
