Disclosed are a windshield wiper and an automobile comprising the windshield wiper, the windshield wiper comprising a first wiper link (1), a second wiper link (2) and a driving mechanism. A first end of the first wiper link (1) is hinged with a first end of the second wiper link (2) through a connecting shaft (4), the connecting shaft (4) being arranged parallel to a glass surface, and a second end of the second wiper link (2) is used for a wiper blade (3) to be arranged thereon. The driving mechanism is connected to the second wiper link (2) to drive the second wiper link (2) to rotate around the connecting shaft (4) in the height direction, so that the wiper blade (3) connected to the second wiper link (2) comes out of contact with the glass surface. The included angle between the first wiper link (1) and the second wiper link (2) can be adjusted according to requirements so as to enable the wiper blade (3) to lift up and drop down, so that when the wiper blade (3) moves in a reciprocating motion or drops down, the windshield is knocked to generate vibration and hence remove impurities on the wiper blade.
