Abstract:
Disclosed is an adapter (4) for a windshield wiper blade (3), configured to allow a wiper blade (3) to be mounted on a wiper arm (2), the adapter (4) comprising an arm through-housing (16) configured to receive one end of the wiper arm (2) such that the wiper arm can slide in a longitudinal direction (L), and a locking button (20) configured to prevent the wiper arm (2) in a rest position from being retracted in the longitudinal direction (L), characterized in that the adapter (4) further comprises at least one longitudinal stop (26) that protrudes in the arm housing (16) and is configured to cooperate with a mating surface (27) formed in a section of the wiper arm (2) in order to prevent the wiper arm (2) from being longitudinally inserted into the arm housing (16).
