Abstract:
Provided is a wiper arm for rotatably connecting an arm body to an arm head, having a spring member provided between the arm head and the arm body, and capable of maintaining sufficient mechanical strength while still being thin. The present invention provides a head-connecting section (21) of a retainer (3) with a hollow section (33) extending to a pivot shaft hole (31), and provides a pivot shaft section (14) of an arm head (2) with a recess (14a). When the retainer (3) rotates, a straight section of a coil spring (4) moves from the hollow section (33) to the recess (14A), and when the retainer (3) reaches an upright position, the straight section is positioned inside the recess (14A). The pivot shaft section (14) is provided with a projection (14B) for contacting split parts (33, 35) on both sides of the hollow section (33), and positioned inside the hollow section (33).
