Abstract:

The present invention relates to a wiper blade (12). The longitudinal center part of the wiper blade (12) is connected to the tip end part of a wiper arm (11). The wiper blade (12) comprises: first and second holding parts (31, 32) which are respectively provided at longitudinal ends (13a, 13b) thereof; and a long holder member (13) for holding a base part (41) of a blade rubber (14) by means of the first and second holding parts (31, 32). The holder member (13) extends outward in the longitudinal direction from at least one of the first and second holding parts (31, 32) and comprises a pair of contact wall parts (51) that make contact with both sides of a follow-up end part (X). First engagement parts (52) are formed in end parts of the blade rubber (14) for engagement with caps (43), and second engagement parts (41e, 41f) are formed in the end parts of the blade rubber (14) for longitudinal engagement with backings. At least portions of the first engagement parts (52) are overlapped with or positioned inside the second engagement parts (41e, 41f) in the longitudinal direction.
