Title:
WIPER BLADE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/215396
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention obtains sufficient wiping performance regardless of the installation procedure for a rubber blade. A first catch portion 62b that is caught by a longitudinal tip portion BE of a leaf spring 30 is provided in a rubber blade 60 at the longitudinal tip side, and a second catch portion 63b that is caught by a longitudinal base end portion TP of an engagement nail 45a which is provided in an end cap 40 is provided in the rubber blade 60 at the longitudinal base end side. The length L1 between the longitudinal tip portion BE of the leaf spring 30 and the longitudinal base end portion TP of the engagement nail 45a is longer than the length L2 between the first catch portion 62b and the second catch portion 63b in the rubber blade 60 itself before installation. The rubber blade 60 is assembled to the leaf spring 30 and to the end cap 40 while in a stretched state. Thus, occurrence of so-called "waviness" is prevented, regardless of the installation procedure for the rubber blade 60. It is therefore possible to prevent occurrence of wiping unevenness and the like, and to achieve a good wiping performance.
