Abstract:
Provided is a wiper control apparatus that appropriately detects a restriction on a wiper blade in accordance with the movement distance of the wiper blade. A microcomputer stops a wiper motor or reverses the wiping action of the wiper blade when a state in which the rotational speed of an output shaft calculated from a rotation angle of the output shaft sensed by a rotation angle sensor is equal to or less than a speed threshold value determined according to the movement distance of the wiper blade, and a current detected by a current detector is equal to or greater than a current threshold value, has continued for a prescribed determination time.
