Abstract:
The present invention has a voltage dividing circuit comprising: a resistor that has one end connected to the positive terminal of a battery, which is a power supply, and another end connected to a first terminal, which is the motor terminal on one side of the wiper motor; and an FET that has one end connected to the first terminal of the wiper motor and another end grounded. The voltage dividing circuit reduces the battery voltage to a test voltage at which the wiper motor does not rotate. A microcomputer detects, as a detection voltage, the voltage output from the voltage dividing circuit through the first terminal of the wiper motor and the wiper motor to a second terminal, which is the motor terminal on the other side of the wiper motor, and calculates a motor terminal voltage, which is a potential difference between the first terminal and the second terminal, from the detection voltage.
