Abstract:
A wiper controller causes a wiper to perform a wiping operation by controlling a drive unit for driving the wiper so that that operation at a target speed is achieved. The wiper controller is provided with a voltage monitoring unit for monitoring a power source voltage supplied to the drive unit and a target speed setting unit for setting a target speed. The target speed setting unit sets the target speed according to a power source voltage when the power source voltage is at or below a threshold voltage, and sets the target speed at a fixed value when the power source voltage exceeds the threshold voltage.
