Abstract:
A wiper device is provided with pivot shafts to which wiper arms are affixed, pivot holders which rotatably support the pivot shafts and which have connection shafts, and a pipe frame which has tube-shaped end sections connected to the connection shafts. The connection shafts are provided with affixation sections which are affixed by staking to the tube-shaped end sections, and flat surface sections which are provided to portions of the connection shafts, the portions being exposed from the pipe frames. The flat surface sections have a predetermined angle relative to the direction of staking of the affixation sections and are parallel to the axis of the connection shaft.
