Abstract:
An AS-side pivot holder (17), formed as a solid rod, is provided on one side in the longitudinal direction with a frame fixing part (17b) to which a frame member (24) is fixed, and on the other side in the longitudinal direction with a motor fixing part (17d) to which a gear case (28a) of a wiper motor (26) is fixed. Between the frame fixing part (17b) and the motor fixing part (17d), a support part (17c) is provided which rotatably supports an AS-side pivot shaft (15b) such that said pivot shaft extends in the shorter direction of the AS-side pivot holder (17). By this means, the wiper motor (26) can be fixed to the motor fixing part (17d) without brackets, and a compact, light-weight and bracket-less wiper device (14) can be achieved with improved layout properties and assembly properties.
