Abstract:
Provided is a wiper device including a pivot shaft, a pivot holder, a water receiving cap, and a washer. The pivot holder has a pivot support section and a mounting leg. The pivot support section supports the pivot shaft so that the pivot shaft can pivot. The water receiving cap has a boss section and an umbrella section. The boss section is fitted over the pivot support section. The washer is affixed to a portion of the pivot shaft, which protrudes from the front end of the pivot support section. At least a part of the boss section axially overlaps the washer. The umbrella section has an axially protruding protrusion. The protrusion does not engage with the mounting leg in the axial direction of the pivot shaft, but faces the mounting leg in the circumferential direction of the pivot shaft.
