Abstract:
A wiper device includes: a wiper motor that is equipped with a rotor and a coil generating a rotating magnetic field, and causes a wiper blade to perform a wiping operation by means of a rotation of the rotor in accordance with the rotating magnetic field; a drive unit that energizes the coil to generate the rotating magnetic field and rotationally drives the wiper motor; and a control unit that controls the drive unit by means of the timing of energization of the coil that is at least based on the rotational position of the rotor.
