Abstract:

A heat-conduction member (60), which releases, to a housing (53), the heat of a FET module (54f) forming a controller (54b), is provided between the FET module (54f) and the housing (53). Accordingly, the heat of the FET module (54f) can be dissipated to the exterior via the heat-conduction member (60) and the housing (53). Furthermore, the housing (53) is made from aluminium, and the surface area of the housing (53) can be made to be larger than conventional cooling fin members, and thus the heat of the FET module (54f) can be dissipated effectively. As a result, both a reduction in the size of a DR-side wiper motor (21), and an improvement in cooling efficiency can be achieved. Moreover, the conventional need for inserting the cooling fin member into a cover (54) is dispensed with, and thus the cover (54) is simplified and can be moulded easily, and working properties with respect to the assembly of the DR-side wiper motor (21) can be improved.
