Abstract:
In this opposite arrangement-type wiper system, the operation range 5b of a passenger-side wiper blade 1b is set to be narrower than the operation range 5a of the driver-side wiper blade 1a and to only slightly overlap with the operation range 5a. The lower reversal position Lb of the wiper blade 1b is set to near the outer edge R of the operation range 5a, forming an overlap operation range 6c between the operation ranges 5a, 5b. The normal stop position of the wiper blade 1b when the wiper system is not operating is set to be towards the upper reversal position Ub, and the wiper blades 1a, 1b, while arranged opposite from one another, perform tandem operation, moving in the same direction during wiping.
