Abstract:
This wire-advancing mechanism includes an advancer roll, a pressure roll, a pressure arm, and a pressure mechanism. The advancer roll rotates about a rotation center axis. The pressure roll is displaceable with respect to the advancer roll. The pressure arm has a first end and a second end which are apart from one another, and rotatably supports the pressure roll. With a wire threaded between the advancer roll and the pressure roll, the pressure mechanism engages the pressure arm so that pressure is imparted to the advancer roll by the pressure roll. One end of the pressure arm is provided with a pressure-receiving part. When the pressure roll presses the advancer roll, the pressure mechanism imparts force to the pressure-receiving part in a direction approximately parallel to the direction of advance of the wire.
