Abstract:
In the present invention, coil segments of the same phase are inserted in each set of three slots that are continuous in the circumferential direction. If the slots of each of the three-slot sets are referred to as A, B, and C, six of the sets are referred to as U1-U6, and a slot y of a set Ux is referred to as a slot Uxy, a coil starting from a slot U1A is wired so as make a single circuit around a stator while sequentially passing through slots U1A→U2B→U3B→U4C→U5C→U6A, and is connected to a slot U1A of the next circuit. In this case, a coil segment having a large bridging width is used for connection of U1A→U2B and U3B→U4C, while a coil segment having a small bridging width is used for connection of U5C→U6A. This configuration enables suppression of a circulating current when a rotary electric machine is configured such that coil segments of the same phase are inserted in each set of three slots that are continuous in the circumferential direction.
