Abstract:
Provided are a wire connection structure and a cable connector assembly which exhibit excellent high-speed transmission characteristics, wherein it is possible to prevent the impedance at the connecting section of a wire connecting section (15) and the core wire (21) of an exposed cable (20) from dropping excessively, and to ensure necessary mechanical strength at the connecting section of the core wire (21) and the wire connecting section (15). Specifically, provided is a wire connection structure provided with a conductor (connector) (14) and a cable (20) connected to the conductor (14). The core conductor (core wire) (21) of the cable (20) is exposed from an insulator (23), an outer conductor (24), and an outer cover (25), and is connected to the exposed wire connecting section (15) of the conductor (14). A portion of the outer cover (25) of the cable (20), a portion of the exposed core conductor (21), and a portion of the exposed wire connecting section (15) are covered and are continuously sealed with a resin (30) from the outer cover (25) to the wire connecting section (15).
