Title:
WIRE CONNECTOR FOR OUTFIT CONNECTED WITH HARNESS CORDS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1994/003084
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A wire connector (11) for an outfit connected with harness cords for fixing a wire (W) having an ornament (J) connected thereto to a metal fitting (20) for an outfit connected with harness cords using a wire (W). The connector (11) is compact, facilitates a fixing operation of a wire (W), and can be re-used. The fixing of a wire (W) is carried out by inserting a pin (17) into an insertion hole (13) after a wire (W) has been put through holes (14, 15, 16) of the connector main body (12) via the metal fitting (20). The wire (17) is prevented from coming off the connector (11) by virtue of a frictional force against the outer circumferential surface of the pin (17) and the inner circumferential surface of the insertion hole (13). The pin (17) is prevented from coming off the main body (12) due to the insertion of parts (Wa, Wb) of the wire (W) into a recessed portion (19). The removal of the wire (W) is carried out by cutting a part (Wc) of the wire (W) and pulling out the wire side (Wb) after the wire side (Wa) has been pulled out.
