Abstract:
The present invention improves the temperature-control responsiveness of a machining liquid and minimizes variations in the temperature of said machining liquid inside a machining tank. In the present invention, a cooling control device (12) that controls the temperature of a machining liquid in a wire electrical discharge machine is provided with the following: a post-cooling temperature sensor (21) that measures a post-cooling liquid temperature, i.e. the temperature of the machining liquid immediately after said machining liquid is cooled by a cooling device; and an in-tank temperature sensor (22) that measures an in-tank liquid temperature, i.e. the temperature of the machining liquid inside a machining tank (1). The aforementioned cooling control device (12) also has the following: a first temperature feedback control unit (31X) that feeds the post-cooling liquid temperature back into a cooling command value sent to the cooling device; and a second temperature feedback control unit (33) that is located outwards of the first temperature feedback control unit (31X) and adjusts the cooling command value by feeding back the in-tank liquid temperature so as to make said in-tank liquid temperature follow a target temperature.
